| I thought it might be time for an update, so here 'tis:
New things: I dyed my hair brown, and am enjoying it. I love work, it's
become fun again. If i end up working halloween, i will wear my skull
shirt.
Things I'm looking forward to: A pay raise, Christmas, Moving to
Ausiland and all that that encompasses, New things, some art work/jobs
i've gotten recently, and life in general.
Things to pray for: A bigger pay raise than i already know about
safety for all those who have left home and will be returning, Our
AMAZING country and it's protectors/protection, and finally, that with
the bigger-than-expected-raise, i'll be able to pay in full for
hillsong+tickets before I leave.
Quote:
"One can easily understand a child who is afraid of the dark. The real tragedy is when men are afraid of the light."

| Here i am, scraping every penny to save for something i swore i would
never do: go to bible school. How ironic is it, that a life i swore i
would never lead, never follow, never take up, is what God's called me
to do(at least for now)? I suppose it goes towards the whole "never say
you won't do something, cause he'll make ya" mantra.
I think I may have read every book ever written by F. Scott Fitzgerald,
including the one he never finished because his death prevented it.
While Gatsby is amazing, "Till We Have Faces" is still my favorite book
on earth, apart from the obvious.
Plato's has gone really well. It has it's ups and downs, but pretty
much i'm enjoying it.
Today constituted 6 months since my last seizure,
and alas, i can finally drive again. A good friend from Atlanta has
been offered the job of leading worship at Access, and he'll be coming
up to visit in 1.5-2 months, so that made my day today. If he likes it,
he'll stay, but he'll only be here a short time before i leave for
Australia. For all of you lucky ones though, no fear, Jayson does a
pretty dang good job in my opinion.
Life has brought us all to places we didn't think it'd take us, or
leave us, I think. God never ceases to amaze me with how he uses things
so small and insignificant to do such grand things. How He takes pains,
embarrassments, things the devil ment for evil, and turns them for
good. And I know, i barely grasp the greatness of God. It's
awe-inspiring, don't ya think, to know we serve such an Amazing God?

| Hey All~ I have 5 days left of highschool in life. It feels nice,
although i've been told that i'll miss it. Ann Taylor has gone really
well, all the people that I work with are really nice. The AP English
Lit. test on Thursday went really good, all considered. Now all i have
to dread is the AP Gov. test on Tuesday. Actually, since it is
technically morning right now- i have it to dread until tomorrow.
Life goes by so fast. everytime i stop to reflect, this truth hits
home. I have 3 friends that i grew up with getting married this summer,
and kids that i used to babysit are starting highschool. Weird.
I've heard from Iris, and tentatively, i'll be taking a road trip down
to mexico in late July. I'm pretty sure that if it goes thru, it'll be
the best, most worthwhile road trip i've ever taken. And i've been on a
few. If you've read C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters,
answer me this in accordance with the sixth letter: if the world can
tell us to "pick our fights", why do we never hear to "pick our
enemies"?

| Hey all! The Dominican was absolutely AMAZING! I would go again in a second, or go longer, either one.
Now all that's left is to finish school, finish college, and finish life. And with luck, it'll all go well
